Bio

Dennis Mario Rullo has been writing for five decades, rooted in a lifelong spiritual affinity for the natural world. He spends as much time as possible in untamed environments, where solitude and landscape continue to shape his sensibility.
His work explores love, joy, disappointment, and the quiet reckonings of everyday life, often accompanied by original illustrations that unfold in dialogue with the poems.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, his work is guided by academic study, and lifelong experience, observation and advocacy within varied cultures.
Having retired from three decades of professional technical support, an experience that subtly informs his perspective, he now writes from a reflective distance, drawing past and present together to consider the human condition through the lens of attentive perception.
